15. Mono-Calcium Phosphate (MCP) Composition: Calcium (Ca): 16–18% Phosphorus (P): 21–22.5% Excipients: Q.S. Description Micro encapsulated monobasic calcium phosphate (MCP) is enriched/fortified with essential photo chemicals to enhance the absorption of calcium and phosphorus by increasing their availability. KGV MCP is a micro encapsulated. Monobasic calcium phosphate contains one molecule of water of hydration due to its micro encapsulation, the deliquescent nature (more than the calculated amount of water may be present) is suppressed. Micro-encapsulated are a controlled release form of active ingredients which could be dispersed into a few microns to several hundred microns via physical or chemical methods.
